Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Southwestern College, located in Winfield, KS, invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Philosophy starting fall 2013. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in philosophy at the time of the appointment and will evidence both a potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring students and a commitment to research and published scholarship. Area of specialization is open, but proficiency in teaching the history of philosophy, philosophy of religion, and ethics is expected. Teaching load is 4/4. ABDs will not be considered.
