| Job description |
The faculty member will be expected to teach the introductory philosophy course as part of the University’s general education curriculum and a wide variety of upper-level courses in both historical and systematic philosophy. The Department seeks a faculty member who is:
A Ph.D. is required; A.B.D. considered. College teaching experience is preferred. In addition to teaching four courses per semester, the faculty member will engage in service to the University and maintain an active program of scholarship. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. This is a non-tenure position, but successful applicants can take advantage of long-term contracts with the possibility of conversion to a tenure in the distant future. |
