Assistant professor

The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in philosophy at the level of assistant professor, beginning Fall 2013. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to liberal arts education (a 4/4 undergraduate teaching load is standard) and to undergraduate thesis supervision.  Areas of specialization and concentration other than ethics & bioethics preferred. Ph. D. required prior to start date. Candidates will be expected to develop an active research program, and engage in service to the university and the community. The philosophy program is housed in the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy.
