Emory University's Oxford College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Philosophy at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, beginning Fall 2013. AOS: Open. AOC: Continental Tradition, Ethics, History of Philosophy. 3/3 teaching load. Ph.D. prior to appointment. Evidence of teaching success is essential.

Oxford College is a division of Emory University that provides a liberal arts intensive program for the first two years of the Emory baccalaureate degree. Located 38 miles east of Atlanta, the historic residential Oxford campus enrolls 900-950 students who continue their studies as juniors and seniors on the Atlanta campus. Faculty members in the humanities normally teach three courses per semester in classes that average 24 students. The College provides support for faculty professional development, access to the resources of one of the world's leading research universities and has established promotion and tenure criteria that are consistent with its mission.
