Job description

The Office of Research Ethics Center department is looking to fill a Program Manager position. This position will take someone who is a self-started, has strong organization and communication skills, and who is a proven, goal oriented, consensus builder. This position will be under general supervision from a designated administrator. They will manage, design, develop, modify and present programs.

Essential Functions

  • Develop Ethics Center social media presence, manage communications, publicity, and the production of print and digital media;
  • Organize Ethics Center activities, including conferences and events, lecture series, student and faculty fellow programs, award committees, serve as a liaison for the Ethics Center with internal and external partners;
  • Organize interdisciplinary ethics workshops and trainings for faculty, (graduate) students, staff, and community partners;
  • Manage assessment procedures (identify, acquire, and analyze data for metrics, milestones) and draft reports;
  • Represent the Ethics Center on university committees and in various capacities with faculty, students, staff, and the public as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree with three (3) years' experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years' experience; -OR- seven (7) years' experience.

Additional Requirements

Academic degree or substantial course work in ethics, law, social justice, or related fields is desirable but not required.
