What is the difference between an ad and a stub?
Ads are submitted by employers and contain full details and text regarding a position. Stubs are entered by PhilJobs staff and contain basic details regarding a position and links to a venue where full details can be found. We encourage departments to convert stubs into proper ads. Primary responsibility is to teach all levels of Philosophy to undergraduate students, including undergraduate students in the Philosophy minor and General Education students. The successful applicant should have a strong competency in applied ethics, especially biomedical ethics, business ethics, and environmental ethics, and the ability to teach introduction to philosophy and critical thinking. Applicants with the ability to teach courses in feminist philosophy are strongly encouraged to apply. Active scholarship and participation in departmental and university efforts including committee work is also expected. Typical course load is four classes per semester. Minimum Qualifications:
