Adjunct Faculty (EXPIRED)

Prairie State College seeks experienced adjunct faculty to teach general education Humanities and Philosophy courses starting Spring 2013. Successful candidates will have a desire to engage a diverse student population in the study of foundational texts from the ancient Greek and Hebrew traditions and/or classic and modern philosophical texts.

Following is the pay schedule for adjunct faculty: 

1-2 Semesters $631 per contact hour 
3-6 Semesters $646 per contact hour 
7-23 Semesters $670 per contact hour 
24+ Semesters $677 per contact hour  

This course requires a master's degree in Humanities, Religion, Philosophy or master's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. 
Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.
