Job description Utrecht University is searching for a Professor in Philosophical Ethics. The Chair (1.0 FTE) is part of the Ethics Institute, which is embedded in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. The Ethics Institute is home to ethicists and social and political philosophers, and participates in a wide variety of interdisciplinary contexts, especially university's strategic theme _Institutions for Open Societies_. The Professor will reinforce the coordination and leadership of research and education in Philosophical Ethics. Qualifications The Chair of Philosophical Ethics:
The successful candidate:
Offer We offer a tenured senior position. The appointment is initially at the rank of full professor and that rank will be made permanent after 5 years, conditional upon successful evaluation. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience - ranges between €5,749 and €8,371 (scale H2 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% per year.
