| Details | This is a new post intended to increase the department's research strengths in moral and political philosophy, to support the highly successful PPE undergraduate programme, and to contribute to the establishment of appropriate MA programmes. You will conduct philosophical research and teaching in the area of moral philosophy. You will have a clear research agenda in this area, and be willing and able to translate that agenda into credible external grant applications. You will be prepared to work in collaboration with colleagues within the Philosophy Department, and across PPE and the University and will be expected to participate as appropriate in the administration of the Philosophy Department, including the development of new initiatives in teaching and research. You will have a proven record of achievement in research, with clear potential for and/or demonstrated excellence in publications, commensurate with your career stage. You will have undergraduate teaching experience, and experience of/or potential to engage in postgraduate teaching and have knowledge of applying for funding, and the potential to participate in collaborative grant initiatives and management.
