Job description |
The University of Edinburgh seeks to appoint an open-ended, full-time Lecturer in Ethics/Political Philosophy within the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences. The successful candidate will conduct research in Ethics/Political Philosophy , offer undergraduate courses in Ethics/Political Philosophy and contribute teaching to our Masters programme in philosophy The successful candidate will be expected to supervise and recruit PhD students working in their area of research. The successful candidate will also be expected to build external collaborations and to demonstrate potential for attracting external grant funding. He/she will engage in research of international excellence, and will contribute to the development of Philosophy as a centre of international excellence within the School.
