Instructor

Atlanta Metropolitan State College, a University System of Georgia institution, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Instructor in the Social Sciences Department. Atlanta Metropolitan State College currently serves approximately 3000 plus, commuting students on a beautifully landscaped campus located 10 minutes south of downtown Atlanta and 15 minutes north of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Applicants must have a Master's degree from an accredited college and 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 graduate quarter hours) in adult education, language and literacy education, reading education, English education, social studies education, philosophy, social sciences, humanities, ethics, theological studies, or religious studies. Priority will be given to applicants with terminal degrees and collegiate teaching experience. 

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience within the budgetary parameters of the college and of the University System of Georgia.
