Referees

The Board of Editors for Praxis would like to invite interested parties to be referees for the Journal. Since 2007, Praxis has been exclusively run by postgraduate students of the University of Manchester, with a commitment to showcasing the very best work in contemporary philosophy. Putative referees may either be postgraduate students, post-doctoral scholars, or new academics. There are no restrictions as to the area of specialism for putative referees, or to the philosophical tradition they belong to (Analytic, Continental, etc.)

Praxis operates on the policy of double-blind peer review. Duties for referees will consist in reviewing manuscripts objectively and on a voluntary basis (circa. 1-2 per annum); returning manuscripts, within good time, with a short report detailing suggestions for improvement; liaising with the editorial board; and promoting the Journal to contacts and peers.

Interested parties should submit a short CV to philosophy[at]praxisjp.org indicating their main intentions and area of specialism.
