Assistant Professor of Public Policy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Position Summary Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invite applicants to apply for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank with a focus on our inaugural MPP. Priority will be given to candidates with research, teaching, and/or professional experience focusing on one or more of the following areas: organizational theory; strategic management; business & public policy; and operations management with expertise in, but not limited to business and society; business ethics; corporate social responsibility (CSR); sustainability and/or environment social governance (ESG); corporate social justice & racial and/or gender equity; public benefit & certified B corporations; cross-sector collaboration; and social innovation. The candidate will maintain an active program of research and teach courses in the BA, MPP, the interdisciplinary Carolina Graduate Certificate in Innovation for the Public Good (CIPG), and Ph.D. program. Educational Requirements Ph.D. in business, public policy, management, organizational behavior, related-social science disciplines or philosophy. We are interested in candidates who hold a professional degree (MPP, MBA) and professional experience in addition to a doctoral degree.
