Assistant/Associate Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Villanova University is accepting applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. AOS:  Contemporary Continental Philosophy. AOC: Open. Position begins Fall 2022. Candidates must have a rigorous approach to contemporary continental philosophy including its recent critical developments and its engagements with diverse cultures and people. Candidates should approach continental philosophy in a way that is informed by and in conversation with the histories of philosophy. Candidates with interests including but not limited to critical and hermeneutic phenomenology, critical social philosophy, philosophy of race, environmental philosophy, feminist theories, queer theory, philosophies of the Global South, and anti-colonial theory are especially encouraged to apply.
