The Faculty is also home to two Canada Research Chairs: the first in Lifespan Cognition, and the second in South Asian Literary and Cultural Studies. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Philosophy Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for a full time (100%), continuing faculty position beginning May 1, 2022. This position involves teaching 4 courses in the Summer semester (May-Aug), and 4 courses in the Fall semester (Sept-Dec). More information concerning the working conditions for a faculty member are outlined in Article 12 of the Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA) Collective Agreement QUALIFICATIONS: · A Ph.D (or equivalent) is preferred, although applicants in the final stages of their dissertations will also be considered. · Successful applicants will provide evidence of research potential as well as teaching excellence. · The area of specialization is open. Area of competence (AOC) is also open. |
