Opportunities to teach upper-level courses and develop new courses in the applicant's area of expertise/ interest will also be available.

The department values both historically-oriented philosophy and engagement with current issues, and we welcome applicants from various intellectual backgrounds and traditions. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to promoting experiential learning and public engagement.  The department serves over 120 undergraduate majors (Philosophy and PPE combined) with robust extracurricular programming.

Application should be made through the Suffolk University Human Resources websitehttps://app.jobvite.com/j?cj=oFTNhfwm&s=applicant, and should include the following: a CV, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a statement of teaching philosophy, sample syllabi (3 maximum), student courses evaluations, and contact information for three professional references.
