Job description

The Department of Technology, Culture, and Society at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for part-time, non-tenured instructors, with a start date of January 24, 2022.

Qualifications

We invite applicants to teach one or more undergraduate courses. In particular, we presently seek instructors for “Ethics and Technology.” You should be an excellent teacher. You should have a graduate degree in philosophy, anthropology, sociology, information science, science and technology studies (STS), history of science, or related discipline with experience teaching ethical and/or social science approaches to the study of technology and a record of teaching experience in these areas.
