Job description

A Doctoral Research Fellowship (SKO 1017) in Philosophy is available at the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas at the University of Oslo.

The Doctoral Research Fellowship is associated with the ERC-project Dynamic Territory: A Normative Framework for Territory in the Post-Holocene (grant agreement number 948964).

We are looking for candidates whose planned PhD project falls within political philosophy/theory, or philosophy of law. The candidate’s project will broadly contribute to Work Package 4 of Dynamic Territory. The main aim of Dynamic Territory is to lay down a normative framework for territory in a global context where geographic, climatic, and demographic conditions are not stable, predictable, and fixed, but constantly changing.

The application must contain a project description and the candidate’s proposed PhD research should directly or indirectly relate to some of these issues.
