Assistant Professor Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies Dyson College of Arts and Sciences Pace University Dyson College of Arts and Sciences of Pace University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies. The position is located at the University’s campus in lower Manhattan, New York City. Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Philosophy or a closely related discipline, and have expertise focusing on critical philosophy of race, feminist philosophy, or philosophy of gender. They must have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory-level courses in Philosophy, as well as courses required for the major, and have the ability to develop specialty courses related to their area of expertise and departmental needs. Demonstrated ability to teach courses in political philosophy is strongly desired. The selected candidate will also be expected to share in student advisement and mentorship, to engage in service on the departmental, college and university levels, and to develop a research agenda.
