Job description

The University of Lucerne is the youngest university in Switzerland. Founded in 2000, it comprises the four faculties of Theology, Cultural and Social Sciences, Law, Economics and the Department of Health Sciences and Medicine and has around 3'000 students.

The roots of the Faculty of Theology extend back to the late 16th century. On the foundation of the Judeo-Christian tradition, research and lectures are undertaken in an interdisciplinary discourse with other related academic fields. The faculty recognises that the local church and the world church are connected and sees ecumenical and interreligious dialogue as a top priority. In Switzerland, the faculty takes a leading role in training theologians.
