The Siena College Philosophy Department invites applications for a visiting faculty position for the Fall 2022 semester (one semester only)
Our department is proud of the supportive, friendly, and intellectually stimulating community we have created. We celebrate diversity and believe that diverse backgrounds and ideas are crucial to academic excellence. For those reasons, we enthusiastically welcome applications from women, people with disabilities, people of minority sexual orientations and gender identities, people of racial or ethnic minorities, veterans, and others from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Master’s degree required - AOS/AOC are both open. Ph.D. preferred.
Candidates should have a commitment to innovative teaching in a liberal arts college setting and to contributing to the intellectual life of the college. A background screening is required.
Siena College is committed to attracting, supporting, and retaining a diverse faculty. We actively encourage applications from women, minorities, persons with disabilities, veterans, and others from under-represented groups who may make a positive contribution to the diversification of ideas and perspectives.
