The Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at Seattle University invites applications for a one year full-time term faculty Instructor position starting fall 2022. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the general history of philosophy, teaching experience, some familiarity with the Catholic intellectual tradition, and the ability to engage with colleagues representing diverse philosophical traditions. The area of specialization is open. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in our Core curriculum, including the two required philosophy core courses (Philosophy of the Human Person and Ethics). Requirement: Ph.D. in Philosophy. Advanced ABD considered.
