Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department of McDaniel College invites applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy to begin Fall 2013. Qualified applicants will have as Area of Specialty (AOS): African or East Asian Philosophies and as Area of Competence (AOC): logic and social/political philosophy or ethics (medical ethics/business ethics). The ideal candidate will combine excellence in teaching with scholarly promise and the ability to contribute to curricular and program design. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester.
