Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Texas A&M University, College Station (http://philosophy.tamu.edu ) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2022-23 academic year. This position is a 9 month, full-time, non-tenure track position to teach a 3:3 load (3 undergraduate courses each in the Fall and Spring semester). The salary for this position will be $50,000.

The successful candidate must be able to teach the lower-division undergraduate course PHIL 240 Introduction to Logic (introduction to formal methods of deductive and inductive logic including, but not limited to, truth-tables, formal deduction and probability theory), as well as upper division undergraduate courses in metaphysics and/or philosophy of mind.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required.
