Job description

The Ethics and Business Law Department at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business [OCB] invites applications for a full-time, tenure track (Assistant Professor) position in the area of business ethics beginning in September 2023.

 The department’s faculty are specialists in ethics and business law, including research and teaching at the intersection between them. Our faculty teach core and specialized courses in all OCB programs, including a specialized undergraduate compliance major. We are excited to welcome a colleague who wants to join an institution where collaborative, creative, and interdisciplinary inquiry are encouraged. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD or doctorate in Business Ethics or another closely related field.
  • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in business ethics.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to teaching excellence.
  • A strong research agenda in normative and/or empirical business ethics research with potential to publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.
  • A commitment to engaging in service to the Ethics and Business Law Department, the Opus College of Business, and the University of St. Thomas.
