Assistant Professor - Philosophy - Tenure Track (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor, tenure track, to start August 2023. AOS: Open, AOC: Open, but should be prepared to teach Introduction to Ethics regularly. Teaching load: 3/4 (3/3 for those with active research programs). As well as being prepared to teach Introduction to Ethics, candidates should also be prepared to teach Introduction to Philosophy and upper-level undergraduate courses. We seek faculty members with a strong commitment to teaching, mentoring, and creating a climate that attracts and retains a diverse, talented student body. Candidates with a record of excellence in teaching, a record of developing writing across the curriculum, and whose research and/or teaching interests take a global, inclusive, pluralistic approach will be preferred. Ph.D. in philosophy must be complete by the start of appointment.
