Job description |
The Department of Philosophy of Providence College invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (tenure-track), commencing September 2023. AOS: Ancient Philosophy. AOC: Open. Teaching Load: 3/3. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. from an accredited institution and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the college and community. Prospective candidates should be supportive of the Department’s commitment to the history of philosophy, willing to conduct interdisciplinary teaching in the College’s Development of Western Civilization Program, and willing to teach service courses.
