Adjunct Philosophy Instructors (EXPIRED)

Lincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach Introduction to Logic, Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics: Morality and Contemporary Values and World Religions at the college’s main campus in Springfield and at our locations in Jacksonville, Taylorville, Litchfield and Beardstown beginning June 2013.

Applicants must possess a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of coursework in Philosophy. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Experience with on-line teaching or the willingness to be trained to teach on-line is a plus.

Transcripts are required for this position and need to be uploaded to your application along with a cover letter and curriculum vitae. For any courses on your transcripts, which may have vague or obscure titles, please provide an annotated list with a brief (one-phrase) description of the content covered in each such course.
