Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Department is currently composed of five full-time philosophers who are dedicated to both teaching and scholarship. As a point of pride, we work to support junior faculty as they acclimate to their new surroundings. There are numerous opportunities for faculty to bring guest speakers to campus, and there are regular opportunities for research support (internal grants, etc.). We draw some of the best students at TCU to our majors and minor and those students have gone on to exceptional careers and programs of graduate study.

Candidates should demonstrate (1) promise of significant publication in AOS; (2) commitment to undergraduate teaching and recruitment of majors and minors, especially from underserved, underrepresented, or marginalized students; and (3) possess a Ph.D. by time of appointment.
