Job description

LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MARYLAND. Baltimore, MD. Loyola University Maryland seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Affiliate Assistant Professor (or Instructor) of Philosophy for Academic Year 2013-2014. Primary responsibility will be to teach four sections of introductory level Philosophy per semester. The fall semester course introduces the discipline of Philosophy primarily with reference to its origins in the ancient world. The spring semester course provides a follow-up focused on the history of modern philosophy. Limited non-teaching duties. Candidates with Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered.
