For more information on the college staff leadership academy, please visit: For more information on college staff professional development, please visit: Purpose The Department of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship beginning in January, 2023. Responsibilities Special duties relating to Paul Woodruff’s office, unpublished material, or material in process of publication. These special duties will include those of a literary executor for the time of appointment, overseeing publication of work that may have been accepted but not yet published. The postdoc will also be responsible for the final disposition of Paul Woodruff’s papers and books, in consultation with him or his heirs. Research and writing related to postdoc's research. Active participation on appropriate reading groups and seminars. There are no teaching duties for this fellowship. Required Qualifications Applicants should hold a PhD in Philosophy, received within the last three years. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in ancient philosophy, ethics, or related areas.
