Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, beginning August 2013.  AOS: open. AOC: open, but demonstrated ability teaching Ancient and Medieval philosophy is required, as is Ph.D. by August. Teaching load: three courses per semester. 

We seek individuals who are committed to teaching undergraduates in a public liberal arts setting, and preferably have experience teaching at a liberal arts institution. Women and ethnic minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
