 FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The successful candidate will teach a combination of introductory philosophy courses and upper-level courses in their area(s) of specialization, and perform service to the department and college. Teaching load is 3-4 courses per semester. A certificate of continued employment (equivalent to tenure) is possible after five years.

Performs teaching and related faculty functions in area(s) of expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent.  Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

Preferred qualifications include:

AOS (Area of Specialization): We have teaching needs in the following areas: metaphysics, epistemology, phenomenology/continental philosophy, feminist philosophy, and philosophy of race.

AOC (Area of Competence): Open

COMPENSATION

$64,491 - $79,808
