Lecturer, Senior lecturer or Associate Professor in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The philosophy programme at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, is seeking applications for a full-time academic position (contract, renewable, usually 2 or 3 years) starting, if possible, this August (2013).

Areas: open — preferably, specialized in and/or competent in teaching and doing research in at least two of the following: Social Philosophy, Philosophy of Science (social sciences included), Islamic Philosophy, Epistemology, Logic and Critical Thinking, Media Ethics, Business Ethics, Environmental Ethics, and Aesthetics

To be considered in this position, applicants must (1) hold a PhD in Philosophy, (2) have a research track record of international, peer-reviewed, publication, (3) experience of teaching philosophy or related subjects (in particular, in undergraduate Philosophy or Philosophy-related interdisciplinary programmes).
