| Job description |
The Department of Philosophy invites applications from qualified candidates for a one-year Limited Term Part-time (.57) Lecturer in Ethics or Ancient Philosophy. Candidates with a PhD are strongly preferred, but ABDs may also be considered. Previous experience in teaching at the undergraduate level is essential, and evidence of commitment to teaching and strong teaching performance must be supplied. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the equivalent of two full courses (4 semester long courses) at the undergraduate level, three during the academic year and one in the summer.
