The term is for up to two years, with the possibility for further renewal. Applicants should have an area of specialization in Philosophy of Law and/or Social and Political Philosophy and should be capable of teaching advanced undergraduate courses in each. Teaching competence in logic is also desirable but not required. Teaching experience prior to appointment is expected.

Additionally, evidence of a commitment to advancing equity and inclusion through research, teaching, and/or service will be valued. Binghamton University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
