Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Possible one year position (pending final confirmation). We are seeking a Philosophy PhD (or ABD with dissertation nearly completed) with a proven track record of excellence in the classroom. Courses to be taught include Introduction to Philosophy (fall and spring), Existentialism (fall) and one or two additional upper level courses (spring); we are particularly interested in courses in the following areas: Environmental Philosophy, Philosophy of Technology, Africana Philosophy, American Philosophy.
