Job description

The Philosophy Department at Hunter College/City University of New York invites applications for a two-thirds visiting position for 2013-14. 2/2 teaching load with no committee duties, undergraduate. Salary commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Funds will be provided for research support. AOS: Modern European Philosophy. AOC: Preference will be given to a candidate able to teach intermediate level courses in both early modern philosophy (Descartes to Hume) and ancient philosophy. Possibly renewable for a second year. PhD prior to September 1, 2013 required.
