Title: Adjunct: Philosophy 
Department: Department of Humanities 
Status: Adjunct, Part-Time, Non-tenure track 
Reports To: Dean, College of Arts and Sciences

Description: Adjunct position available in the area of Philosophy.

Responsibilities: Teach one to two courses in the fall semester starting August 2013.

Qualifications Required:

• Earned Masters from an accredited institution in the discipline
• 18 graduate hours in the discipline
• Willingness to work daytime hours.

Special Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking
• Problem solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

Work Conditions:

• Work is normally performed in typical office and classroom environments

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines
• Near vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens
• Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone
