Lecturer (EXPIRED)

One academic year lecturer position, beginning Fall 2013. Renewal for 2013-2014 may become possible. Applications from ABD doctoral students will be considered.

We are looking for a philosopher with teaching competence in some area of applied ethics. This person will receive training in engineering ethics while assisting in the teaching of an engineering ethics course, and will work on development of alternative content delivery strategies such as “flipped classrooms.” Although two lecture sections of engineering ethics will be taught each semester, there will be a single preparation.

Salary commensurate with qualifications (e.g. PhD in hand versus ABD) with a $2500 research bursary and standard benefits.
