visiting lecturer (EXPIRED)

Responsibilities:
The Department of Philosophy and Religion in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks to fill a one-year Visiting Lecturer position on Northeastern’s Oakland, California campus beginning in Fall 2023.

The successful candidate will teach multiple sections of Technology and Human Values (PHIL 1145) and possibly other courses as need arises (such as Environmental Ethics and Introduction to Contemporary Moral Issues). This role is non-tenure track and a 2/3 time position, with commensurate pay and benefits. The Visiting Lecturer will teach four courses per academic year (two courses in the fall semester and two courses in the spring semester).

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required.
