The NC State Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies welcomes applications for an appointment as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy with expertise in the philosophy of science and related fields. Candidates must have completed the requirements for a Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field by May 2024. The responsibilities of the appointee will include teaching philosophy of science up to advanced level and contributing to the Department’s teaching needs in other areas of Philosophy including, in particular, metaphysics, epistemology or both. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Other responsibilities include research, publication and service. |
