College of the Holy Cross Department of Philosophy Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Philosophy GENERAL INFORMATION The Department of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in August 2024. Area of Specialization: Epistemology and Metaphysics. Area of Competence: Ethics, Political Theory, or Feminism. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. All full-time appointments offer competitive salaries and include full benefits, including travel support and reimbursement for relocation. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must demonstrate excellence in scholarship and a commitment to effective undergraduate teaching in the context of a liberal arts college. Ph.D. in Philosophy required by the beginning of the appointment.
