The Department of Humanities and Arts at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, invites applications from outstanding candidates for faculty positions, starting October 2024. These positions hold an Open Rank status. We are interested in receiving applications from scholars at both the Senior and the Junior levels. Research conducted within the department is centered around the history and philosophy of science, engineering, and medicine; and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. We also have specific interest in developing an embedded ethics and environmental ethics programs. Background in sciences or engineering is a significant advantage. Demonstrating personal interest in cultivating cross-disciplinary research initiatives with Technion STEM researchers is highly desirable. Candidates must have a Ph.D in one of the relevant disciplines and an excellent record of publications. |
