Instructor or Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA invites applications for a one year, full-time position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level.  Area of Specialization:  Open.  Areas of Competence:  Ethics and Applied Ethics.  Salary variable but competitive; generous health benefits.  Ph.D. or ABD by August 2013.  Teaching experience required.  Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well during the interview(s). Teach introductory-level ethics and applied ethics classes, including Contemporary Moral Issues and either Environmental Ethics, Biomedical Ethics, or Business Ethics.  Two sections of Contemporary Moral Issues at a nearby branch campus and two at the main campus in fall.  Four sections at the main campus in spring, including Contemporary Moral Issues and applied ethics sections.
