Job description |
These postdocs are a part of a 5-year funded project, "Liberalism Rekindled". The project includes more specific work packages on flawed consent, power and truth, freedom of speech, liberalism and identity, liberalism and democratic theory, and the relation between political philosophy and politics). For more details, see here. Post-docs will be expected to work on issues related to the project (broadly understood), to cooperate with the PI (David Enoch) and with each other, to participate in weekly or bi-weekly group meetings (in person or on-line, and to take part in organizing conferences. There will be flexibility, within reasonable bounds, about the topics, and about residency – while the position will be based at the Hebrew University, and some meetings and events will be in-person, many of the meetings will be held online, and post-docs will be able to spend much of their time elsewhere. The postdoc position is for two years, with an option of a third year (depending on academic and administative approval). |
