The Department of Philosophy at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for an Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2024. Area of specialization: Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence. Areas of competence: Modern Philosophy or Philosophy of Mind. Research collaboration with Computer Science is expected. Service to the department, college, and university is expected. Experience working with diverse student populations and first-generation students is highly desirable. Demonstrated potential for collaborative grant writing is also desirable. Salary competitive. UTEP is America’s leading Hispanic-serving university.
