RuCCS faculty seek to understand perception, language, decision making, and other aspects of cognition, along with how to apply that understanding to solve real-world problems. RuCCS aims to support the development of cognitive science as a field and places great importance on the training of the next generations of scholars. Participants in the RuCCS Postdoctoral Teacher-Scholar Program are a part of this academic community, engaging in mentored scholarship while teaching undergraduate courses.
