Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at the University at Albany, State University of New York, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to start fall 2014. Area of specialization: history of early modern philosophy; areas of competence: metaphysics and epistemology. The normal teaching load for research-active faculty involved in doctoral education is two courses per semester. Ph.D.in philosophy from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization is required. Preferred candidates will document evidence of excellence in teaching.
