The Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a visting instructional assistant professor at the Higher Education Center located in McAllen, Texas for the spring 2025 semester. This is a part-time, 4.5-month, visiting (non-tenure) position with an anticipated start date of January 2025. This position will teach one course per year and is renewable. Candidates will be expected to teach an undergraduate philosophy courses (PHIL 111 - Contemporary Moral Issues) and provide service to the department. QualificationsA Ph.D. in philosophy or a related field is required. |
